Dear BMR sponsors,
December turned out to be a best-ever for BMR. We started the month off with four-out-of-four medals won at our NorCal District Championship event in Livermore, CA. The Robertson Park Rodeo grounds have proven to be a "make or break event" in many a championship event over the past several seasons, and this year was no different. The infamous "staircase to heaven" disabled all those who weren't prepared for the punishment of 75 yards of concrete steps, lap after lap. BMR made it's impact on the 2007 event by netting a silver, and three bronze medals.
The team had strong rides in the Bay Area Superprestige final event, at Coyote Point, San Mateo, with Mark Abele securing a strong second place overall in the series. I also wrapped up a nice string of solid results to cement the series title in the new Livermore CX series.
We are preparing for our final events of the season with Trina and Edwin heading to Belgium for the Masters Cross World Championships, while Janel and I tackle the Santa Cruz County Cross Championships here locally. Stay tuned for results from BMR's final month of cross in January '08!
