This is our final set of results for the 2005/’06 cross season. I can honestly say that this was the finest season we’ve ever had as a team. After I said that last year, I didn’t know I would be saying it again so soon. The addition of Edwin and Trina certainly made things more fun, especially in Belgium, where the laughs were nearly non-stop. And I will tell you all what I told the team at the dinner table the night after our World Championship races:
“It is plain to me that this team, this special group of people, is clearly something more than just the sum of our parts, that together we are something special, and I am very proud to be a part of it.”
