Dear BMR sponsors,

We are at a point in the season when it's time to pull out all the stops. Southern California jumped the gun by having their District Cross Championships ahead of NorCal's, and Blackmarket Racing delivered the goods with resounding victories for Trina and Edwin, in the Master Women's and Men's 45+Elite events, respectively. Trina, characteristically throwing caution to the wind, lined up later the same day to test her metal against the Elite women, and captured a solid 5th.

The wins didn't stop there. New BMR recruit Mark Abele sent a message of his own at the historically brutal McLaren Park race, as part of the Bay Area Super Prestige series. This was by far, the most punishing course of the season thus far, with many crashes and broken equipment. Mark used his skills and steely concentration to distance himself early in the Men's 45+ Elite race, and never looked back, taking a commanding victory.

The first event of the new(er) Peak Season CX series was also very kind to BMR. Both myself and Janel secured solid victories against small, but talented fields in both men's and women's Master 35+ Elite races. The Peak weekend also marked the return of Bruce to the fray, having put out all the fires in Southern California. All those San Diego residents thank you, Bruce!
