Dear BMR sponsors,
Another season is officially upon us, and Spring has sprung in earnest. They say that California is starting another drought, but you wouldn't know it if you were riding around in the forest above UCSC; plenty of mud and tack to go around.
BMR team riders are tackling different projects with the start of the new season. I am dabbling in single speed racing at the Central Coast MTB series, Bruce is attacking the Prairie City mid-week series with a vengence, and Trina and Edwin are getting ready for an adventure race down south. All in all, the team is making it's mark throughout NorCal.
Most recently, I won the Napa Valley Dirt Classic, with the fastest Expert time of the day- across all age-groups, and both Trina and I made the podium at the Firestone Walker XC event in the Santa Ynes Valley under hot, dusty conditions.
Pat and I are looking forward to repeating our dominance of the 24 hrs. of Adrenaline event at Laguna Seca, Monterey, as part of the corporate team from Family Cycling Center. The event will be held the weekend of June 9th, a full month later than last year.
